Things I miss about Memphis/Things I like about Gainesville

In an attempt to conquer #6 from the previous post and to feed my newly discovered passion for list making, stolen completely from other blogs I have stumbled upon lately, I am going to attempt to think of the things I miss most about Memphis/like about Gainesville. In no particular order.... Memphis. 1. Friends. Namely, Karen, Kim, Kelly, Amy, Lori, Stephanie, Teresa. (I should say girlfriends but I don't like that term...seems so, well, GIRLY) 2. Salsa 3. Our screened porch 4. Jane 5. Having more than one TJ Maxx and Marshalls in very close driving distance 6. Being able to get sushi at lunch somewhere other than Publix (there is one place that is good but the atmosphere is highly questionable....Sushi served in a place that used to be a Tea Room and still has the same decor....ick) 7. Having people to go to lunch with 8. Our swimming pool 9. Going to the office 10. When I saw the Georgia "G" it was exciting and special 11. Central time Gainesville. 1. Being in the same town as my brother 2. Mexican, mexican, mexican everywhere 3. Our new treehouse 4. Living close to my parents 5. Having Marshalls and Ross in the first shopping center I come to leaving my house 6. That there are places (like Kiku) I haven't tried or even discovered yet 7. Being able to walk to the town square at lunch and having lots of neat choices 8. Our evening boatrides 9. Not having to go to the office 10. The Georgia "G" is everywhere! 11. I know it won't get dark at 4:30 like Memphis does.

Things I hate about other bloggers...

But am guilty of myself... 6. When they are all about the bloggers' children 5. When they aren't funny 4. When they are pictures only and no words 3. When the pictures are completely random with no connection or backstory 2. When I have already seen the pictures somewhere else 1. And the #1 thing I hate about blogs but am guilty of myself....when I click on them and there is nothing new. Oh well....here's to not being guilty of #1 today.
