Does he know what day it is?

I have heard tales that all week long Ben has slept til 8:30 or after. But today it is finally Saturday, and he wakes up before 6:00. Does he know it's Saturday? Seems to happen every weekend. They must have a chapter on that in the Handbook of Being Two. Thank Goodness Mimi Jane and Grandma are still here to smooth the waters and provide entertainment.
